As an introduction to artisan bread making and sourdough, we create two types of bread and two types of bread rolls together.
All ingredients, the use of kitchen equipment, and an apron will be provided during the class. Small group sizes mean that there will be a maximum of 10 participants.
As a snack, we’ll enjoy the freshly made bread rolls with different spreads & condiments. Coffee and tea will be provided as well, but no other drinks or foods are included in this class.
In the end, we’ll share all the delicious bread we made together during the class among each other to take home. How much this might be depends on the size of the group and how much we already ate during the class! Please bring a paper or cotton bag to take your share home. If you wish to take some of the sourdough starter home, too, please bring a small glass jar.
After the class, you’ll receive the recipes and a summary of the hints and tips via email.
The whole day classes are held on a Saturday. It starts at 10 am and finishes up by 3 pm. Doors open 10 minutes prior to the start of the class.
Course Fee: 125 NZD per person
Please note that all types of bread made during the course contain gluten (from wheat, rye and spelt). Other ingredients may contain traces of tree nuts and sesame seeds. Please inform us about any dietary requirements during the enrolement process.
